Milpa y Minga
Two living traditions of working land and community brought into dialogue. The milpa of Morelos meets the minga of the Maguaré Reserve. Dos tradiciones vivas de trabajar la tierra y la comunidad puestas en diálogo. La milpa de Morelos se encuentra con la minga de la Reserva Maguaré.
Milpa y Minga is an ongoing bridge between the milpa of Morelos and the minga of the Maguaré Reserve in Colombia and in the Colombian Amazon, where tecnomilpa works alongside the community. The steps are small for now: visits, conversations, first shared plantings, made possible by our friend and colleague Johana Kuetgaje organizes together with the families of her communimty. We hope to carry out more, at the pace the community sets. This page will grow along with the bridge.
Milpa y Minga es un puente en curso entre la milpa de Morelos y la minga de la Reserva Maguaré en Colombia y en la Amazonía colombiana, donde tecnomilpa trabaja junto a la comunidad. Los pasos son pequeños por ahora: visitas, conversaciones, primeras siembras compartidas, que nuestra amiga y colega Johana Kuetgaje gestionó junto a las familias de su comunnidad. Esperamos llevar a cabo más, al ritmo que la comunidad marque y esta página crecerá junto con el puente.
